Conceptual Design & Feasibility
Project Planning
Using planning software such as Microsoft Project and Asta Power Project, gantt charts and project programs can be produced to show required labour and plant resources, likely project duration and critical tasks and paths. These critical items are key to project success and remaining within budget.
A Work Breakdown Structure diagram (WBS) takes all expected tasks for a project and defines the total scope. This in turn feeds other management tools detailed below.
A Gantt chart take information from the WBS and plot actives onto the bar chart. This is the project program showing tasks, start & finish times and duration. This in turn feeds activity tables & network diagrams
A Labour Histogram will help to determine volumes of staff and contractors needed on-site and when. This in turn gives an accurate picture of required welfare facilities, job duration and traffic. A similar tool is a plant allocation chart
Structural Surveys & Calculations
Through our partners at SSD Structural Engineering we can offer a full range of services including calculations, feasibility and design, inspections, specifications and value engineering to name a few.
Quantity Surveying
Using data derived from 3D BIM models, schedules ad take-offs can be produced to accurately price any project in terms of materials. Even if a 3D model is not available this data can be computed manually to provide the same results. Using this service a client can determine material amounts, costs and lead times to budget any project.
NBS Specifications & Technical Detailing
Using the NBS specifying toolkit we can provide clients with a full specification for their project including contractual information and work sections. This information can be reinforced with customised technical CAD details.
Planning Applications
With our breadth of knowledge and long experience in construction, we can guide our Clients through the whole planning process. From submitting initial applications, arranging inspections, attending meetings to the final sign-off. These applications can be anywhere in the UK and cover small domestic Clients to large commercial projects. This service can be complimented by using our architectural team to produce technical drawings and specifications.
2D CAD & 3D BIM Models
Our team of Architects and technicians can produce a wide range of 2D & 3D drawings for any size project. We have experience work to BIM (Building Information Model) Level 2 and work to PAS1192 compliance. 3D models can be used to create a wealth of information from solar studies, schedules, specifications, visualisations, walk-throughs, renderings and full sets of technical drawings. M&E Routing, Clash Detection & Spooling
Using 3D modelling software we can provide clients with full M&E routing solutions for even the most complex and crowded plant rooms. These models can be linked to others (such as architectural and structural) to perform clash detection analysis and reporting. Once a clash free solution is found, spooling drawings can then be produced to enable manufacture.
Laser Scanning & Point Cloud Creation
Using state-of-the-art laser scanning equipment, we can provide clients with millimeter accurate point cloud data of existing installations. This technology saves hundreds of man-hours in traditional measuring surveys. Data taken from the laser scans is stitched together to form a pointcloud that comes together to show a 3D image of the objects. This is then fed into modelling software and can be used to accurately model in BIM elements, creating super accurate as-built models.
Site & Project management
Our team consists of fully qualified site managers and supervisors enabling us to provide clients with full or temporary site supervision demands. All of our site managers are SMSTS and First-Aid trained. We can also offer a full range of project management packages. As mentioned in the Project Planning section above, we can tailor packages to suit any sized project.

Our background is the building trade having been formed as a house building company. With this expertise, we can provide our clients with the full building service, supplying trusted tradesmen to complete any sized project.
